Today's turnout was 5 shooters - Ben, David, Trevor, Trevor's friend David and myself.
A pretty standard centrefire match, except Trevor decided to do it with 357 magnum rounds.
It was very difficult to concentrate on shooting when the ground and shed shook for every shot.
It did bring a grin to everyone, but I think Trevor won't be doing it again any time soon.
The next club outing will be collecting more materials from the defunct Perth Pistol Club grounds.

Boyup Brook Men's Shed group have a blast

Tuesday 21st july and the Boyup Brook Men's Shed group visit the club for an evening of Pistol training and entertainment.
They started the evening with safety training and familiarisation with David our Club Secretary.
The guys then tried their hand on the 10 metre air pistol range, and ended the evening on the 25 metre range using the clubs Browning 22 pistols.
The evening ended with a sausage sizzle and a few ales.
By all accounts much enjoyment was had by all.

Boyup Brook Pistol Club AGM
A good way to start a new blog is at the beginning of a new year.
There was a good attendance to the AGM on 14th july 2009, with several new faces elected to office, and a couple of long-standing people either bowing out, or trying to bow out.
The new line up is :
Graeme Boyle - President
David Bates - Secretary
Trevor Taylor - Treasurer
Laurie Shine - Club Captain
Thanks go to Jim Pottinger as the outgoing President, whom bowed out due to work and farm commitments.
We are optimistic that the new management will take us forward with some improvements in book-keeping and general adherance to club rules.
